The marionette is skillfully hand-carved from linden wood , conserved with beeswax and then hand-painted with transparent oil colours which allows the natural beauty of the wood to show through.
Her clothes are made from natural silks .
The puppet is 20 inches (500mm) tall and is operated by
a controller made from Oak with 9 strings
