Description:
The principal characters seen in all performances of the theatre
are Spejbl and Hurvinek, father and son, who represent two generations,
each with a different view of the world. Spejbl first appeared on stage
in 1920.
This marionettes are 9 inches and 11 inches from head to
toe. The hands and face are cast out of a unqiue plaster compound then
hand painted.
The controller is made of wood with 4 strings and a solid
wire for support.
