I created 2 marionettes for an independent short film by Navin Dev. Entitled 'The Tree Man' it depicts Pinocchio's descent into (his own) hell and his redemption. Navin supplied the designs for the marionettes which I then constructed from wood, hard foam and paper clay.
Filmed in London over a period of a week, I performed the marionettes for the shoot along with 2 other talented puppeteers Sara Kirkpatrick and Raven Kaliana. This low budget short was a pleasure to work on, a young cast and crew were certainly enthusiastic throughout.
